At the beginning
A witness to a changing sky.
Valorian is the First Whispering Sage. His life reaches from the Wild Era into the early epochs of Thalyara’s history.
Here, he watches Itharath Ralos pass above Thalyara. This is our first glimpse of him: a person looking up, before we learn what that sky will mean to his life.
His story will unfold gradually. This introduction leaves his origins and later fate untold.

Opesh is a chronomancer and guardian of temporal memory. Her scholarship is patient, her compassion disciplined. She approaches time as a river to understand, not a possession to command.
Seeing a possible future does not make it inevitable. Her work asks a harder question: What might a small intervention change, and what consequences remain unseen?
